Join us at the Regent Park Multicultural Harvest Festival!

Join CultivateTO at the Regent Park Harvest Festival!

This Saturday, October the 6th, from 11am to 4pm, join Cultivate Toronto and a number of other local organizations and community members for the some harvest fun, international food, dance, health/wellness strategies, garden tours, games, children’s activities, door prizes.

Chris Won will be there with an outreach booth, as well as conducting a demonstration on worm composting – fascinating if a little “icky.”

Funded in part by Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, the Regent Park Multicultural Harvest Festival will focus on providing opportunities for individuals from different cultural backgrounds to come together and explore food, dance, health and wellness strategies and exchange ideas as well as participate in garden tours to see our community’s involvement in urban agriculture. Gardeners from different cultures will talk about the growing cycle and use of produces for different food and health preparations. CSI will provide a seminar on managing finances and starting a small business. Games, children’s activities, door prizes, international free food tasting and more!

Over 20 community agencies and business have been involved in the planning and will be there to join in the fun.
